  1. This folder contains re-distributable installers. Normally, these are not
  2. needed since they will already be installed.

  4. These installers are targeted at English language platforms only.
  5. For non-English language versions, please go to the URLs listed below.

  7. ./Data Access Components/mdac_typ.exe
  8.     This is "Microsoft Data Access Components MDAC 2.1.2.4202.3 (GA)".
  9.     If you already have installed
  10.     "Microsoft Data Access Components MDAC 2.1.1.3711.11 (GA)
  11.     or higher there is no need to install this more recent version.

  14.     Note: MDAC 2.1.1.3711.11 (GA) has shipped in a number of Microsoft
  15.     products, including the following:

  17.                    Internet Explorer 5.00.2314.1003 and later.

  19.         before installing MDAC (DCOM for Windows 95 is available for download

  24.         - Visual Basic Script Edition (VBScript.) Version 5.0

  28.             - Windows Script Runtime Version 5.0.

  31.     Note: Win95 users must have OSR2 installed or be running Microsoft
